Last week, we showed you a tragic video of a Bugatti Veyron drowning slowly in a Texan lagoon. This video made us sad.
Now, improbably, footage has surfaced of the multi-million dollar hypercar actually plunging into the water. (Thanks to all those who tipped us off, by the way.)
We can’t decide whether it’s hugely coincidental that some good ol’ boys just so happened to be filming the Bug moments before it crashed into the lake… or completely understandable. It’s a super-rare exotic supercar, right? You’d have done the same, wouldn’t you?
We also can’t decide whether it’s hugely coincidental that the driver has been identified by local media as the owner of a company that restores wrecked supercars for resale.
Whichever way, we feel there’s probably more to come from this story.

Well folks, living in the USA, having lived and worked at a race track for years, and having been in Texas( alot unfortunately) I want to assure you that having lots of $’s , and a driver.s license does not magically remove a person from the “IDIOTS ALLOWED TO DRIVE” list. In fact ,admit it , most people can get in over their head on a Moped.Besides in my experience any place people live that is predominately flat (Texas ect.) the roads tend to put you to sleep..Mostly tho’ I think Tom Gear was right about the Taco and KFC- but he left out how the guy had a cell phone stuck to his ear telling his GF about how cool he was,,,emphisis on WAS!
