We couldn’t help but notice the news networks were showing the following reel on repeat this morning, and with good reason. Basically, a lucky Russian is jogging across the road when a bus slams into a stationary car, sending both careening over the crossing, missing the man by millimetres. In fact, if he hadn’t kicked his jog up to a sprint, it would almost certainly be curtains.
But it got us thinking about these death dodgers. You know the type; the Hindenburg pilot who called in sick that day, or the WTC worker who ducked out for coffee… Some of these you’ve seen before, and some you haven’t, but they each one is a cracking example of the power of luck.
